This tour is a relaxing one and adventure combined together in order to explore places in the northeastern part of Albania. In this tour you will see the nature, experience adrenaline, meet locals and taste some traditional Albanian food! This tour is unique because of being in an area off the beaten path and that is new to explore. Still genuine and out of the touristy places! Our tour consists of showing a new destination in Albania northeastern region that it is not explored yet. The tour lasts for a full day. This tour is to really see the undiscovered parts of Albania better now rather than later.
Pickup included
We will be starting the experience from the capital city and head to Peshkopia. During this trip we will be passing through a very scenic route that will show us spectacular mountains, hills and valleys.
After the trip we will reach the point where it starts the rafting experience that offers breathtaking views of mountains, gorges and crystal clear waters. The rafting experience duration is about half an hour and then can be opportunities to swim too.
After the rafting experience we will continue towards the thermal bath which is located to the east of Peshkopi, approximately 1km from the city center. Since the 1600s, the curative properties of the hot springs have brought people to Peshkopi from all over the Balkans. The mineral waters remain at a temperature of 40C and are used to treat conditions such as: rheumatism and arthritis.
After the rafting experience we will be jumping on the off-road cars that will take us to the mountain of Grama which is part of Korabi range of mountains. The place that we will visit is the lake of Grama, an arctic lake created as a result of ice melting and it is located at an altitude of 2000 meters.
After the off-road experience we will be returning back to Tirana. Even though we will be returning from the same road it will look different due to the sun setting and the different radiation of the sun rays upon the mountains, hills and valleys.
