Lake Abashiri is a sacred place for Wakasagi (Japanese smelt) fishing in Hokkaido and has a reputation for good fishing!
There's nothing quite like the rush of pulling up a silvery smelt through a hole in the ice!" - Enthusiastic Ice Fisher.
We have prepared a private tent for each group so that you can enjoy fishing comfortably on the lake in sub-zero temperatures or on windy days.

No warry even if you have never fished before, the guide will help you with all the necessary information, such as “The hook got stuck,” “I don't like touching fish...” and “I want to experience drilling holes.

At the end of the tour, you will enjoy a hot meal together with your catch! Hot drinks are available. The taste of freshly caught and deep fried tempura is exceptional!
