About this experience
Being grown up on this beautiful island, i feel blessed for sharing my love and ecpertise as a licensed guide. Together we go back in time when Aegina was a thriving maritime center visiting its Archaeological site and Museum. Then we are about to discover the hidden gems of the modern town, once the capital of the newly formed Greek state. There life vibrates and pistachios grow!

Exiting the modern port, walking by the ancient port, we approach the archaeological site of the ancient city and the temple of Apollo

At the same site the museum casts light into the past of Aegina with an excellent selection of local artifacts.

Leaving the museum, we continue for our relaxing walk through the colorful narrow alleys of the island's town where are all the local shops and products. Here tradition blends with history since the town is full of evidence of the time it constituted Greece's ever first capital.
