After 1 hour of driving we will make a stop at corinth canal which connects the Aegean with the Adriatic sea and was built in 19th century.You will have the chance to take some stunning pictures and admire the view of this marvel of engineering.

You will have the chance to explore the first capital of the modern Greek state. Stroll in the narrow streets with the amazing restaurants, cafes and local products shops. Take a stop at Syntagma ( Constitution) square and admire the 18th and 19th century buildings.Walk in the boulevard of Nafplio port overlooking the Bourtzi fortress which was build to guard the port.

We will visit Akronafplia from outside , a Venecian style fortress and we will stare the breathtaking view of Argolic golf and have a lot of pictures.

It was built by Antonio Gambello, an architect from Bergamo in 1471, although the construction was completed by the engineer Brancaleone.
This Fortress was constructed by the Venetians after the departure of Mahmut Pasha in 1473 and equipped with cannons. In 1502, the Venetians changed the fortifications on the southwest side into an independent rampart and erected an artificial mound of boulders to which they attached a chain. The chain was then connected to the city to prevent hostile ships from entering the harbour.
