Shuzenji Onsen Town
Known as the oldest hot spring town in Izu, Shuzenji offers charming stone-paved streets, peaceful strolls through the Bamboo Grove, relaxing foot baths, and a visit to the historic Shuzenji Temple. It’s a perfect place to enjoy a slow, serene atmosphere.
Toi Gold Mine
A historic gold mine that flourished during the Edo period. You can walk through actual mine tunnels, learn about traditional gold mining techniques, see a massive gold bar on display, and even try gold panning. It’s an educational and fun experience for all ages.
