About this experience

Take a private, curated day trip from Paris to Normandy to discover its moving history and hear stories from your guide that enrich your visit. In your comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle, we’ll travel to the Normandy beaches with pick-up at your hotel for maximum convenience.

Our first stop in Normandy is Utah Beach, where we’ll have a break to enjoy lunch at Le Roosevelt Restaurant and visit the Utah Beach Landing Museum inside a preserved German bunker. Tour the Higgins Boat monument and the Utah Beach Memorial.

Next, ride over to the Normandy American Cemetery at Omaha Beach. You can explore the visitor center and permanent exhibition, including a film about the American forces in World War II. The highlight is the special wreath-laying ceremony in the American cemetery. Your group may even be chosen to participate in the ceremony!

After you’ve had time to explore the beach, we’ll return to Paris and drop you off at your hotel.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1 Pass by

Our driver/guide will collect you at your chosen pick-up location and drive you to the Normandy beaches in a comfortable, private and climate-controlled vehicle.

You will have the chance to explore the Utah Beach Landing Museum inside a well-preserved German bunker, view the Higgins Boat monument commemorating the amphibious landing craft, and pay respects at the Utah Beach Memorial before going back to the bus to head to your next destination.

UUpon our arrival at our first stop, Utah Beach, you will have a break to enjoy lunch. Lunch is not included in the tour price, but you have the option to order anything you like from the menu.

Stop 4

The second part of your trip will be Omaha Beach, where you’ll be able to explore the visitor’s center followed by a viewing of the wreath-laying ceremony in the cemetery. You will also have time to wander around the cemetery before boarding the bus back to Paris.

Once you board the bus, you’ll enjoy a relaxing ride back to Paris, with another rest stop halfway to stretch your legs. Take this time to reflect on everything you have seen and learned during your day in Normandy.

About half-way through our drive to Normandy, we will break at a rest stop in Bosgouet where you’ll be able to freshen up and grab a quick coffee or snack.
