Stop 1

It is a drive-past monument & a photography spot from where usually our tour starts. A short stop over here & a brief introduction will be given by our tour guides. And not to worry, you will obviously get your picture in front of this iconic & beautiful monument.

Panna Meena is the ancient step well of the Amber region where we would stop for a while & admire the engineering & creativity of the people back then to store & collect water for their daily use. The staircase adjoined the walls from three side in a crisscross manner is a sight to behold.

A unique temple stands out from other because of its toran or entry gate entirely made out of white marble. A perfect place to rub-shoulder with locals & witness the dearth of spirituality one of the queen had in the past times.

The erstwhile royal residence for the rulers of the Amber Town. Its a huge complex divided into four sections & each one the section is composed of beautiful structures reflecting different architectural styles & unique attributes added by the successive rulers over 150 years.

A paradise in the mid of an man-made water reservoir was in itself was a palace & hunting lodge back then. A stop over to get some nice pictures and a better understanding about this structure.

An astronomical observatory constructed to make a horoscope with better precision. An UNESCO world heritage site which still can calculate the local time just with the accuracy of 1 minute, 20 seconds and 02 seconds.

The Royal Palace for the royal family of Jaipur. The City Palace has two sections, one being the royal residence & another the Sawai Man Singh II Museum Trust, whereas the latter showcases you some of the unique collection and masterpieces of the royal family of Jaipur, be it a carpets, pashmina shawls, tunics, sports wear, old paintings, craftsmanship, arms & ammunition & lot more.

The places where the members of royal family received the sacred fire ceremony, an spiritual ceremony associated with cremating the dead bodies. The pavilions are decorated in such a manner that it looks like a none other the beautiful palace & its architecture shows it in a certain way.

The last stop for the tour, this beautiful facade marks the entry & exit to the southern part of the city and was an attempt to bring together all the arts, crafts & cultural heritage of the entire state at one place.
