Taking a journey through Iceland´s most beautiful natural treasures and get in touch with nature by seeing and feeling the ancient ice beneath your feet.

We operate in all weather. Wear appropriate clothing (no refunds are given if you come unprepared). Wear warm, yet breathable waterproof clothing and hiking boots. Wear hiking boots that cover your ankles and offer good ankle support.

Important: We offer boot and rain jacket rentals at the meeting point. If you are not properly dressed, you may be required to rent gear from us or, in extreme cases, be denied participation for safety reasons.

Group size is usually 8 people, if the group is larger than 8 people we add another guide to the tour.

Please note: We have crampons that are designed to fit shoe sizes EU 35–48 (approximately 22.5–31 cm). Children must have feet within this size range in order to participate in the tour.
It is cold on the glacier and this tour operates on windy and rainy days. Wear appropriate clothing (no refunds are given if you come unprepared).

We meet next to the cafeteria at the ticket office of Jökulsarlon Glacier Lagoon, Jökulsárlón, 781 Höfn í Hornafirði. Meeting point is next to our super-jeeps.

Please be on time. If you are going to be late, it is important that you call us on +354 866 3490.
We are next to the white building with the blue roof. We advise against driving from Reykjavík on the day of the tour. The weather and road conditions can be dangerous during the winter. Please, check on the weather conditions: www.vedur.is and road conditions: www.road.is before your tour and let us know if you have any difficulties to show up for the tour.

The weather in Iceland is ever-changing, please dress accordingly. We recommend at least 3 layers, warm socks, a hat, gloves, scarf. Hiking shoes/boots are necessary, especially in the winter months. We provide the crampons, headlights and the helmet for the tour.
