Mount Fuji's fifth station is above 2300 meters.
You can enjoy the mystical sight of the Fuji Five Lakes below and sometimes even a sea of clouds. There is also the Komitake Shrine which is famous for matchmaking.
Compared to flatlands, the fifth station is about 12 degrees cooler. It might be good to have a jacket or something to keep warm.If you feel cold, naoki can get you matchmaking after Komitake Shrine...

2
Stop 2

Lake Kawaguchi, one of the famous Fuji Five Lakes, is a particularly popular destination for tourists because of its beautiful views of Mount Fuji.
Japanese really love Onsen near Lake kawaguvhi ^_^

Located on the northern side of Mount Fuji, Lake Kawaguchi is one of the five dammed lakes formed by the volcanic activity of Mount Fuji. It is registered as part of the Mount Fuji World Heritage site
We want to offer seasonal suggestions for enjoying Lake Kawaguchi. Of course, if you're interested, you can also take a ride on the ropeway or ferry(additional fee of approximately 1000 yen per person).

3
Stop 3

To see Mt Fuji clearly without anything blocking the view, this park is a special place.
Seeing Lake Kawaguchi and Mt Fuji in front of flower fields at the same time is an extraordinary experience!

4

At the Chureito Pagoda, you can see the iconic view featured on the covers of Japan travel guidebooks.
To catch this sight, you'll need to climb approximately 400 stairs, which can be nice exercise.
Once you reach there, you'll be rewarded with stunning views of the beautiful mountains and the shrine's surroundings.

5

Oshino Hakkai, part of the UNESCO World Heritage site "Mount Fuji," is composed of eight ponds known as the Oshino Hakkai Ponds.
I think the atmosphere is like a small version of village from the movie "Princess Mononoke."

These ponds called the original Japanese landscape show the crystal-clear water flowing from Mount Fuji underground.
Actually you can drink it!!

6

Fujiyoshida's top Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine has over 1900 years of history, alongside Mount Fuji.
It's part of Mount Fuji's UNESCO World Heritage site.
Ancient trees, like the "Fujitaro Cedar" and "Married Couple Hinoki," stand by the main hall, showing nature's grandeur. Hikers start their Mount Fuji journey from this shrine, a sacred place for praying for a safe and successful ascent.
Guides offer insights into its history and highlights with our original guide files so you will get to know Japanese culture and Mount Fuji.

7

The cave formed by Mount Fuji's eruption.
This cave has been referred to as the "womb."
You can probably understand why the Japanese referred to this cave as a womb after experiencing it by yourself.

One of the components of the Mount Fuji World Heritage Site.

(During crowded times, we will go to other caves, also you can feel and learn Mt.Fuji sprit)

What's not included

We highly recommend trying some local specialties that you can only find here. Sure, you can grab quick snacks from convenience stores for lunch and visit as many tourist spots as you want.
