"Vanilla Prod's shop" has been a local company established on the island of Taha'a for several generations. Recently, Vanilla Prod’s shop decided to open its activity to the public to show enthusiasts how Tahaa vanilla is grown. On site, you can discover their plantations and products during a guided tour made by the owners of the premises. When the flower season is underway, it is possible to witness the "wedding" (polenization) of vanilla flowers.
On site, you will have the opportunity to discover typical local products such as: honey, vanilla under vacuum, vanilla aroma or even, artisan monoi. These products are intended for sale so you can find your happiness there.
This experience is very enriching for both enthusiasts and amateurs.
The rum factory "Mana'o" is one of the famous places of the island for its many alcoholic (rum) medalists. Indeed, you can discover and taste the various rums, gins and others concocted by this distillery.
On the program, a guided tour on the making of sugarcane juice and the whole process of processing into rum. Several perfumes and tastes are highlighted. Here too, you will have the opportunity to buy local products such as: alcohol, arranged juices and many more...

Pearl farms in French Polynesia are a must-see and not to be missed. The Orana Pearl Farm is one that offers the opportunity to discover and learn the process of creating a pearl using mother-of-pearl. This will be detailed by the hostess on site. From time to time, demonstrations are possible, particularly during the week.
