About this experience

If you want to live a special and different day, we made this trip to see the wonderful details of the old capital in the Roman era of Egypt. The trip begins by picking you up from your hotel by air-conditioned vehicle, where our guide meets you to stay with you all day, express, tell every information you need to know about Alexandria. When we arrive, we'll start to show you the catacombs of Kom el-Shoqafa that mix Pharaonic and Roman art, and the incredible Pharaonic funeral architecture. The next station is Pompey's pillar, a Roman triumphal column, then you'll visit the Mosque of Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi, the first of its kind to be discovered in Egypt. Visiting the entrances to the Kom Tombs, which is the largest Roman cemetery consisting of three levels cut into the rock.

This picturesque fortress was built during the 14th century to defend Alexandria from the advances of the momluks and Ottoman Empire and it was established in 1477 AD by Sultan Al-Ashraf Qa'it Bay in the location of the legendary Pharos Lighthouse which was one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
