Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The Armenistis Lighthouse of Mykonos is ideally located in the area of Cape Armenistis.

The old lighthouse stands like a sentinel over the region and comprises a mute testimony to the rich maritime past of Mykonos. Nowadays, the legendary lighthouse is managed by the Hellenic Navy's Hydrographic Office.

2

This waterfront location has become known in late 1990s for the famous neolithic settlement found here. It is attributed to the Saliagos culture of the early Final Neolithic and is known for the diverse finds of building foundations, pottery, metalworking, and stone figurines. The settlement was dated to 5000 to 4500 BC using the 14C method. It was discovered in 1992 and excavated from 1995 onwards.

3

Ano Mera in Mykonos is the second bigger village after Chora (main town) and is one of the oldest villages on the island.

4
Stop 4

The monastery of Panagia Tourliani in Mykonos is situated 8 km from the town, in Ano Mera village.
The construction was established in 1542 by two priests and named after the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

5
Stop 5

Kalafatis in Mykonos is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island, where the golden sand and the clear blue waters create an idyllic landscape. It is a large beach with golden sand and crystal-clear waters that make up a dreamy setting.

6

Elia in Mykonos is a big sandy beach, located 12 kilometers from the capital and after Agrari Beach. It comprises the longest sandy beach of Mykonos, fully organized, offering a wide choice of taverns and bars, as well as water sports facilities like water-skiing, parasailing, and windsurfing.

7
Stop 7 Pass by

Ornos in Mykonos is situated in front of a small fishing village, 3.5 km south of the Main Town (Chora). It boasts fine sand, azure waters, sunbeds, and umbrellas for rent. The beach is really beautiful and most of the time is crowded.
The view from the beach is lovely, facing houses perched precariously on the cliff.

8
Stop 8

The windmills of Mykonos are the trademark of the island's landscape. There are plenty of them that have become a part and parcel of Mykonos.
Visitors can admire the windmills irrespective of the locale; one can figure them out thanks to their distinctive silhouette. They primarily lie in front of the neighborhood of Little Venice, but some are also located in and around Alefkantra.

9
Stop 9

Little Venice in Mykonos is one of the most romantic places on the island. That neighborhood is replete with elegant and gorgeous old houses situated precariously on the edge of the land.
Many discerning travelers have fallen in love with this charming quarter due to its magnetic appeal in the past.
The sunset views from there are also breathtaking.

10
Stop 10

Agios Ioannis in Mykonos is considered the most beautiful beach on the island's southwest coast and boasts soft sand and crystalline blue waters that are ideal for swimming and snorkeling. The beach was named after the small church that is located just above.

11
Stop 11

The Town of Mykonos, called Chora by the locals, is a traditional Cycladic village built around a bay.
It has whitewashed cubic houses with wooden doors, windows, and balconies painted in bright colors, narrow streets forming a labyrinth, beautiful churches, lovely chapels, and purple bougainvilleas contrasting with the bright white of the buildings' walls.

Cars are not allowed in the heart of the settlement for most of the day, which makes the walk among the labyrinth streets particularly pleasing, especially during the early morning. The area is calmer than ever since most people are at the beach or sleeping in after a long night of clubbing.
