Built in the 18th century and surrounded by lush terraced gardens and with breathtaking panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains, Villa Balbianello has often been used as a set for films and film productions (including Star Wars and 007 Casino Royale) thanks to its atmosphere suggestive. The villa is also famous for its art collection and antique furniture, which reflect the taste and pomp of its illustrious owners over the centuries.

A pretty town on Lake Como characterized by a large gulf, it is home to Villa Cassinella, according to some owned by Richard Branson, it is one of the most beautiful properties on the lake and stands out for its well-kept garden.
