Enjoy a gentle coastal walk on Mallorca from the picturesque village of Sant Elm to the peaceful sanctuary of La Trapa Monastery. This journey takes you through the rugged beauty of the island's landscape.
The trail to La Trapa Monastery starts from Sant Elm, usually near the seafront or the edge of the village. Look for signs or ask locals for directions to the trailhead. The trail initially winds through the outskirts of Sant Elm, offering glimpses of the Mediterranean Sea along the way.
Throughout the hike, you'll be treated to breathtaking views of the coastline, with the sparkling Mediterranean stretching out before you. Take plenty of breaks to soak in the scenery and capture some photos to remember the experience.
After a few hours of hiking, you'll finally reach La Trapa Monastery, a remote and peaceful sanctuary nestled in the hills. This monastery, founded in the 19th century, offers a fascinating glimpse into Mallorca's religious history.
Participants will meet up with the guide 10 minutes before the activity's start at the parking spot in Sant Elm. Free parking available. Buses serve Sant Elm from Andratx and Port d’Andratx (TIB bus line 121).
