Villa Izvor or "Objekt 99" situated in Plitvica Selo, located in a secluded part of the Plitvice lakes National Park, was built by Josip Broz Tito, former President of Yugoslavia, after the Second World War. At the time of its construction, it was the most expensive residence of a state president.
The interior was impressive. From the marble stairs to the carpets, to the furniture that remained in some rooms. Its 20 Elite apartments could have guest up the World’s political elite guests, and now unfortunately, Villa remains in ruins and acts as an inspiration of its wealthy history.
