After your guide has picked you up, he will take you on a drive in his comfortable 4x4 vehicle from Nairobi,
to Muranga county. The landscape keeps getting greener the further we get out of the city. Your guide will tell you more about the people, the culture and the landscape during this interesting drive to the starting point of the hike.
I’ll pick you up at around 10 am at your place of comfort with my comfortable 4x4 vehicle. The ride to our destination will take around 1,5 hours from Nairobi. Once we have reached our destination, we shall have a small hike leading you through beautiful scenery and alongside a serene river to a breathtaking waterfall and a natural pool. The hike is moderate and takes around 1 hour. It’s not a challenging hike but still a very rewarding one. At the waterfall, you’ll have some time to explore, take pictures, and even enjoy a refreshing swim. We’ll have a small picnic as well. After hiking back, there is a nice local restaurant where you can enjoy some Kenyan food if you wish. Lastly, after having made some unforgettable memories I will take you back to Nairobi to your place of comfort.
After having had an eventful experience at the river and waterfall, you might want to get some local Kenyan food at the restaurant nearby (optional). Afterwards, your driver will take you back to Nairobi and your hotel.
