Experience the World's Northernmost Igloo Hotel
The Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel is the World's Northernmost Igloo Hotel. Each year experienced artists and builders come together to build a new and unique hotel with a special theme. The Igloo Hotel has an area of 2,500 m2 and it takes 250 tonnes of ice and 7,000 m3 of snow to build it. We harvest the ice from Sierravann, which is only a few kilometers further into the Alta Valley from Sorrisniva, and we produce the snow using the water from the famous Alta River located only meters away from the hotel.
