Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Led by a passionate local guide, we begin this tour with a walk through the historic Lalbagh Botanical Garden, the oldest and greatest garden in Bangalore. Expect to be greeted by friendly monkeys, playful squirrels, and singing birds as we pass botanical wonders such as Banyan Trees, Silk Cotton Trees, and Cook Pines. The lushness of the garden and the serenity of Lalbagh Lake provide plenty of food for thought. This is the perfect calm before the storm of the bustling food street ahead!

2

After soaking in the serenity of Lalbagh, we begin our food adventure with local snacks. Enjoy the crispy kodubale, deep-fried kayi bajji, and the iconic congress bun, a soft roll stuffed with spicy peanuts. Wash it down with fresh mango, avocado, or pomegranate juice.
Next, we indulge in classic South Indian delights—buttery benne dose, soft thatte idli, and crispy paddu, each served with chutney and sambar. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, try a warm ghee bele obbattu, stuffed with a delicious filling of jaggery and lentils.
Next we switch gear and sample North Indian street food. Relish the bold flavors of pav bhaji, a buttery, spiced vegetable curry with toasted buns. For a tangy-sweet twist, try rasgulla chaat, a fusion of spongy rasgullas, yogurt, and chutneys. Pair it all with a chilled, creamy lassi.
To end on a sweet note, we enjoy a flavorful dabeli, creamy kulfi, and fragrant gulkand ice cream, a rose-infused treat—perfectly wrapping up our culinary journey!
