On the tour we visit the Generalife palace and gardens. This is the rest area for the Nasrid sultans. There we will learn about the irrigation system used by the Nasrid sultans and what they did to bring water from the Darro River to the Generalife. We will enjoy the oldest garden palace in Europe.
After visiting the Generalife Palace and Gardens, we will pass through the Medina, which is the place where the workers lived and where they had their jobs to serve the court. We later arrive at the palace of Emperor Charles V, there we will visit this jewel of the Spanish Renaissance in the palatine city of the Alhambra.
We also visited the most important area of the Alhambra, the royal house or the Nasrid palaces. There are three palaces that have different uses. The Mexuar palace, the Comares palace and finally the famous palace of the lions.
