06:45 AM – Departure from Shkodra
Meet in front of the Co-Travel Albania office (Gjuhadol Street, city center). Alternatively, we can arrange pick-up from your preferred address in Shkodra — just let us know in advance. Begin your journey with a scenic drive to the Koman Terminal.
08:45 AM – Arrival at Koman Terminal
Check in for the boat tour. A staff member will assist you. Please have your ticket ready (sent one day before your trip).
09:00 AM – Boat Ride: Koman Lake to Shala River
Enjoy a spectacular journey by boat through Koman Lake, famous for its fjord-like cliffs and emerald waters. You’ll continue along the river to reach the stunning Shala River, often called the “Thailand of Albania.”
10:30 AM – Arrive at Shala River
Spend time swimming, relaxing, or exploring this remote and beautiful location. The turquoise water, peaceful riverbanks, and surrounding mountains offer the perfect break in nature.
4:00 PM – Departure from Shala River to Fierza
Reboard the same boat for a scenic continuation to Fierza (approx. 2 hours). Please note: this is a transport transfer, not a guided tour, and food/drinks are not included.
16:00 PM – Arrival in Fierza & Minivan Transfer to Valbona
Upon arrival, a shared minivan will be waiting to transfer you to Valbona Valley. Let the driver know your guesthouse name for direct drop-off.
17:00 PM – Arrival in Valbona
Check into your accommodation (not included). Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the hike the following day. You’ll receive your digital GPS map and itinerary via WhatsApp or email.
Early Morning – Begin Your Hike
Your guesthouse may offer transport to the trailhead at Valbona Pass (small additional cost). Begin your hike from there, using the digital map provided.

Arrival in Theth (Afternoon)
Upon arrival, you can:

Stay in a guesthouse (not included) and return to Shkodra the next day at 11:00 AM.
Option 2 – Return the Same Day:
If you arrive before 5:00 PM, we can organize your return to Shkodra the same evening.
