Stop 3

Step into the heart of the jungle and explore the ancient Mayan city of Cobá, one of the most fascinating archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula. Unlike other Mayan ruins, Cobá is known for its vast network of stone pathways, called sacbé, that connect different parts of the city, offering a glimpse into its once-thriving civilization.

One of the highlights of the tour is Nohoch Mul, the tallest pyramid in the Yucatán at 42 meters (138 feet). Unlike many other ruins, visitors previously had the opportunity to climb to the top, where breathtaking panoramic views of the dense jungle stretch as far as the eye can see. Though climbing is no longer permitted, the view from below remains spectacular
As we walk through the site, our expert guide will explain the history, culture, and daily life of the Mayans who once inhabited Cobá. You’ll see structures such as the Ball Court, where ceremonial games were played, and the Observatory, which showcases the Mayans’ knowledge of astronomy.

Fifth Avenue is known for its variety of boutiques offering everything from handcrafted souvenirs and Mexican artisan goods to trendy fashion, jewelry, and luxury brands.
