About this experience

We offer hiking adventures along the Niagara River gorge lead by a New York State licensed Hiking Tour Guide. We are passionate about sharing the beauty and wonder of the Niagara River with visitors and tourists. We offer a fun, interesting and unique experience for folks looking to get away from the large overcrowded tourist attractions and bus tours.

We start this tour by looking down into the Whirlpool from the Niagara River gorge rim. We will then hike down 400+ steps into the gorge and along Niagara River rapids trails to the Whirlpool flats. Along the way you'll learn about the river and historical events.

When we reach the Whirlpool you will have time to explore on you own, be mezmorized by the famous Whirlpool rapids and take some of the best photos of your vacation. We will then take the trail back up the stone staicase and walk back to our meeting spot. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
