Pickup times may vary slightly depending on the season, but you will be collected from your hotel in Cappadocia approximately 1 hour before sunrise and transferred to the balloon launch site.

Upon arrival, you’ll witness the magical preparation process as our experienced crew inflates the hot air balloon. This is a great opportunity to capture stunning photos and videos before your unforgettable flight begins.

Your exact pickup time will be communicated to you one day before the tour.

Once the hot air balloon is fully prepared, the ground crew will assist you into the basket.
Before takeoff, your experienced pilot will provide a short but important safety briefing.

Within moments, the balloon will gently lift off the ground, and you’ll begin your journey through the skies of Cappadocia. During the 45 to 60-minute flight, you’ll glide over spectacular landscapes — including the region’s famous fairy chimneys, volcanic valleys, and unique rock formations.

Hot air balloons are guided by the wind and have no steering wheel or rudder, making them the oldest yet one of the safest forms of air travel. Pilots control altitude and rotation, while the wind sets the direction. Each flight route is carefully planned based on weather and wind conditions to provide the best and most scenic experience possible.

At the end of your flight, the pilot will land the balloon safely at the most suitable area based on wind and terrain conditions.
In most cases, the landing takes place on a specially designed trailer. Occasionally, the ground crew may assist in guiding the balloon to ensure a smooth and secure landing.

Once the balloon is deflated and safety procedures are completed, you will step out of the basket.
As part of ballooning tradition, a champagne celebration will be held to mark the successful flight. You will also receive a personalized flight certificate as a souvenir of this unforgettable experience.

After the ceremony, your transfer vehicle will be ready to take you back to your hotel, concluding your magical journey.
