About this experience

Operated by JDMdrifttours. Have you ever wondered what the courses from Initial D look like in real life? Well here’s your chance! Get picked up in a Nissan 180sx or 350z and visit all the race locations from the first season: Mt. Akina, Mt. Akagi, Usui, and Myogi! Visit other familiar locations around Takumi’s town! See the real life cars from Initial D at D’s cafe! This is Initial D in real life!
We will visit the 3 most famous and popular Mountains in Gunma Prefecture. The total length of the tour is approximately 10-11 hours. This includes travel to and from your hotel. We will drive up and down each mountain at least once. The roads are long and winding, and we will spend approximately one hour driving on each of the 4 famous roads. The parking areas at the summits often serve as gathering points for car enthusiasts.
If you decide to do the tour at night, there is a good chance that we will encounter street racers or drifters! We can depart at anytime that suits your schedule!

Drive the uphill and downhill of Mt. Akagi! Akagi is the home course of the RedSuns and the Takahashi Brothers! Is is where the battle between Takumi Fujiwara and Kyoichi Sudo was held, which resulted in Takumi blowing up his 86's engine.

Visit D’s cafe and see the real life cars from Initial D! Take a look around and see a lot of unique Initial D merchandise for sale!

Drive the uphill and downhill of Mt. Akina/Haruna; the home course of the legendary panda Trueno 86! Visit various famous locations from Initial D! Visit the lakeside park at the summit of Mt. Akina where the Speed Stars often meet and hang out. We will eat lunch in Shibukawa, which is where Takumi met Natsuki Mogi for their first date.

Drive the uphill and downhill of Usui Pass! Usui pass is a mountain pass that lies between Nagano and Gunma Prefectures. It is the home course of Impact Blue in Initial D. It is also the home course of the Drift King, Keiiichi Tsuchiya in real life!

Drive the uphill and downhill of Myogi, the home course of the NightKids! This is where Takumi battles the R32 GTR! Street racers and drifters can often be found here at night!
