This is an unforgettable adventure because it allows us to visit the Rainbow Mountain in a unique and special way. We visit the Vinicunca viewpoint at 5076 meters above sea level on an ATV tour.
Pickup included
The tour begins with pickup from your hotel or Airbnb in Cusco in our transportation. Pickup times are as follows: first group from 4:00 am to 4:30 am, second group from 6:00 am to 6:30 am, and a third group from 8:30 am to 8:50 am at the main square (this last schedule does not include breakfast). Then we travel for approximately 2 hours to the town of Cusipata.
Upon arrival in Cusipata, we visit a local restaurant where we enjoy a delicious breakfast for approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. We then continue with a 2 hour and 40 minute drive until we reach the transport station.
We continue our adventure as the guide gives the necessary instructions and leads a 10-minute ATV practice session. We then ride for about 25 minutes until we reach the ATV base. From there, you walk for about 5 minutes to Rainbow Mountain, and if you wish to reach the viewpoint, you hike an additional 10 minutes.
Enjoy time to take photos, record videos, and appreciate the beauty of the mountain’s colors; you will have about 40 minutes at the viewpoint and surrounding area.
After the visit, we walk 5 minutes back to the place where we left the ATVs. Each traveler then takes their ATV and drives for about 25 minutes back to the transport station.
We then continue the journey back to Cusipata, where a delicious lunch awaits us.
After lunch, we return to Cusco, ending the tour at Plaza Regocijo.
