The tour starts with the east coast of the island, with its beautiful black sandy beaches and famous surf spots!

STEP 2:

Discover Tahiti from a unique angle!

The tour begins with the east coast of the island, with its beautiful black sand beaches and famous surf spots, before entering the heart of the Papenoo Valley, Tahiti’s largest valley.

This immersion in the lush nature of the island will offer you the opportunity to discover its essence in an authentic and unique way.

The tour is commented with stops at several remarkable sites, offering breathtaking scenery up to Caldera, an extinct volcanic crater that gave birth to Tahiti Nui. You will be amazed by the majestic waterfalls, lush green mountains, lush vegetation, and local flora and fauna. The guide will share fascinating stories about myths and legends, marae, and the island’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

STEP 3:

After traveling halfway around the island and reaching Caldera, the excursion continues with a visit to the authentic village of Fare Hape, a place full of history where you will discover the traditional life of the inhabitants of Tahiti (marae, fare, Tahitian oven, etc.).
Before departure, it is strongly recommended to bring a sandwich or snack for lunch. For this we will stop at a supermarket where you can buy what you need.

Lunch will take place in an authentic and picturesque setting in the village of Fare Hape, where you can enjoy a well-deserved break.

It is also strongly recommended to bring a personal bottle of water or bottles of water, to stay well hydrated during the excursion.

A little surprise awaits you to immerse yourself more in Polynesian culture for a moment of conviviality and sharing.

STEP 4:

The adventure continues with a stop at the tunnel connecting the East Coast to the West Coast, offering spectacular views of Vaihiria, Tahiti’s only natural high-altitude lake.

You will then cross the whole island before returning to the starting point.
