Before descending, there is an option to hike around the crater. at Nairobi hotels with easy pickup and drop-off. Hike around the crater rim, making the round-trip hike's . Before returning to Nairobi, you might want to include a trip to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride at sunset to see hippos. The road climbs the mountainside in a fairly steep gradient that occasionally becomes slick. Therefore, to participate in this hike, hikers must be at least somewhat fit. However, every challenging step and the effort are worthwhile for the breathtaking views from the crater rim itself. This moderately difficult day hike includes steep climbing. In some areas of the hike, the ground is covered in fine dust and loose gravel. Bring along light clothing, comfortable hiking shoes. In the meantime have a break for lunch and refreshing..
