About this experience

Take one day tour to the Ranua wildlife park and wave hello to the Arctic animals!

This excursion starts from picking you up from your accommodation, and then we will head to the Ranua Zoo, which locates in a small city 80 km away from Rovaniemi.

There you will take about 2,5 km walk in the magical forest, which will allow you to meet many animals and birds that can be found in the arctic areas. The zoo is outdoors, self walking, so prepare yourself with adequate clothing. The excursion suits for the whole family. There are some sleds available for smaller children, in case they get tired of walking.

After the visit you will enjoy a buffet lunch and some free time for shopping in the Fazer chocolate shop, local berie wine shop and small boutiques.

Duration of the excursion is approximately 5-6 hours.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi and head to Ranua for this daytour!

Stop 2

You will visit Ranua Zoo, meet the only zoo-hosted polar bear, have lunch, and see all the wild animals here!

After the day in Ranua zoo, on the way back, we may drop by Fazar - the Finnish favourite chocolate brand, and buy some snacks! If time allows, we may also visit local berie wine shop and small boutiques.

In the end of the tour, you will return to the accommodation and have a restful evening.
