About this experience

On this tour you will visit two great nature location situated around 1.5 hours from Rovaniemi. Your professional photographer-guide will share photography tips and tricks to capture great pictures of these unique places.

At Korouoma we will hike around three kilometres through the atmospheric Nordic Forest. We reach the viewpoint on top of the canyon to witness the majestic landscapes surrounded by cliffs over 100 metres high.

Next location: old-growth forests and the waterfall of Auttiköngäs. There, we hike a bit to reach a view tower at the highest point of the area with incredible views in all directions. From the tower you will see old, protected forests and impressive sceneries over the wilderness area.

Another gem of the area is a natural waterfall, Auttiköngäs Falls. The Auttijoki River was used to transfer logs in old days, and the structures built on waterfall allowed the wood to slide down to the canyon. Today, this structure is preserved as a historical sighting.

The viewpoint is a fantastic spot for landscape photography and will work as an epic background for anyone wishing to have their portraits taken.
