We start our visit by discovering the ramparts and the main panoramic viewpoints, then we enter the City to discover the exterior part of the Château Comtal, the streets of the City, the Basilica of Saint Nazaire and the Hotel de la Cité.
The walking tour allows you to discover in detail the city of Carcassonne and its medieval history. We evoke the most important period of the 12th and 13th centuries: the time of the Cathars and knights such as Trencavel (lord of Carcassonne) and Xabert de Barbaira who fought with Courage and self-sacrifice to defend the populations during the crusade led by Pope Innocent Three and Simon de Montfort.
