Jinvali Water Reservoir, also known as a lake, is located on the Georgian Military Highway. Soviets constructed the dam in the 1980s—a wonderful place to take amazing pictures.

Ananuri fortress dates to the XVI-XVIII centuries and it is situated on the foreland by the river Aragvi. Ananuri was a castle and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi, a feudal dynasty that ruled the area from the 13th century.

Both White Aragvi, and Black Aragvi have their own color, they do not mix together. There is an incredible place that attracts many tourists in the east of Georgia, the white Aragvi and the black Aragvi have their own color, the rivers do not mix up and look like a black-white stream.

Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is on the right bank of the Chkheri River under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level.
