Both White Aragvi, and Black Aragvi have their own color, they do not mix together. There is an incredible place that attracts many tourists in the east of Georgia, the white Aragvi and the black Aragvi have their own color, the rivers do not mix up and look like a black-white stream.

Jvari Pass Travertine Natural Monument is calcareous sinter or tufa in Baidara River valley (2197 m). It was formed when carbonate minerals precipitated out of ambient temperature water. Travertine in some places is covered with a thin layer of transparent water on the white surface of the slopes where the intensive development process is still ongoing.

7

Stepantsminda stands out on the map of Georgia, not just for being just eleven kilometres from the northern border of the country, but also due to the fact that one of the oldest crossroads between Europe and Asia passes through the town. It is not known when Stepantsminda was founded, but a treasure hoard from the 6th-5th centuries BCE was discovered here.

Gergeti Trinity Church is a popular name for Holy Trinity Church near Gergeti village. The church's location is on the right bank of the Chkheri River under Kazbegi Mountain, 2170 meters above sea level.
