About this experience

Walking Tour in kochi with a local guide. Experience the highlights of Fortkochi and Mattancherry with a local Expert born in same city who speaks good English. You will get the benefit of a local who explains about the history of the local attractions in a local way. During this tour along with the historic monuments, you will also experience the real life of the local people which is the main attraction of the tour. In Fort Kochi You will visit traditional Chinese fishing nets , St Francis church,Santa cruz Basilica church etc. After you will be transferred in Tuk Tuk(Auto Rickshaw) towards Dhobhi (local Laundry)and then through local streets visiting Old Hindu Temple and towards Mattancherry to visit historic Jew street where the Jewish community still exists after walks towards Dutch Palace, where the Cochin Royal family were living, now a museum under the Archeology. Later towards the Traditional Bazar market visiting Spice warehouses, Womens Co-operatives etc in the town.
