What to expect
Take advantage of the dark night skies outside of Temecula's wine country go stargazing with fully customizable tour. Get a closer view of the cosmos and learn more about the universe from our friendly staff.

Meet at the observing location near wine country at the designated tour time. Get an overview of the constellations with a laser pointer, then take turns at the large and powerful telescope which will enable you to easily view planets, stars, galaxies, nebulas, and star clusters.

In between turns, guests can view the sky with wide-view binoculars while resting in a comfortable chair. Feel free to ask your astronomer guides questions and to customize what you want to see during the 1-hour experience.

Your night tour guide will lead you through a full night sky experience which will vary slightly throughout the year and lunar cycle. Most tours will engage from near to far starting with Earth's closest celestial neighbor - the Moon. We'll spend time viewing the Moon visually and electronically ensuring that everyone has hands-on time. Next we'll move deeper into the solar system with views of what ever planets are available during your tour. We'll then move to deep sky objects viewing nebula, star clusters and galaxies. The evening will have everyone saying WOW at least once. The tour will include an introduction to astro photography using a smart scope to demonstrate how world-class telescopes obtain such amazing images.

NOTE: The start time will vary throughout the year but will normally begin about 1 hour after sunset. Roughly 6:30pm in Winter, 7:30 in Spring, 8:30 in Summer, 7:30 in Fall

Final details will be sent the day prior to the scheduled trip but the normal meeting spot is in Temecula Wine Country down Rancho California to the round-about and then going left (3rd exit from the round-about) on Anza Road about one mile.
