It is a cylindrical masonry tower, a dome with white and red radial stripes and white buildings 25 meters high at the foot. Materials from Europe were used for its construction.

Punta Ballena - This area of the city is much appreciated by locals, as it provides one of the greatest spots for sunsets. The downgoing hill shapes as the flukes of a whale (reason for its name), and is also the host for Casa Pueblo - museum arthouse designed by Carlos Páez Vilaró - a nationwide well-known artist and muralist par excellence.
