Welcome to an Unforgettable Arctic Adventure! Step aboard Icebreaker Arktis and dive into a once-in-a-lifetime experience! This extraordinary cruise takes you onto the frozen sea, where you'll walk on solid ice and float safely in icy water wearing a thermal survival suit.

Your Icebreaker Arktis experience includes a 3-hour icebreaker cruise, round-trip transfers from Rovaniemi to the harbor in Kemi, ice floating, walking on the frozen sea (weather permitting), and a certificate of participation. Onboard, you'll enjoy two cozy indoor decks and a modern café with Arctic views.

Please note: Minimum height for the ice floating activity is 140 cm.

Welcome to an incredible arctic adventure from Rovaniemi! The Icebreaker Arktis cruises on the frozen Gulf of Bothnia sea in Kemi during the winter season. Icebreaker Arktis Cruise includes 3h icebreaker cruise, ice floating experience, walking on ice and diploma. There is a café on board where you can buy local delicacies. A modern and warm lobby will make your trip comfortable and enjoyable.

The Gemstone Exhibition showcases enchanting jewelry and more then 700 different gemstones and semi-precious stones from Finland and around the world. Discover the hidden treasures of the Finnish soil and admire precise replicas of world-famous royal jewels, such as Queen Elizabeth’s crown and Marie Antoinette’s necklace. The exhibition is based on the extensive collection of the Kemi Gemstone Gallery, founded in 1986 by a renowned local goldsmith. Exhibition is located on the third floor of the SnowCastle’s main building and is open year-round.

In newly redesigned, year-round snow and ice experience, you can immerse yourself in the true feeling of winter in this 400 square meters large cold experience room! Surrounded by snow walls and dazzling ice sculptures enjoy the feeling of cold winter and unforgettable moment by sliding down the ice slide or striking a royal pose on the icy throne for a memorable photo.

Notice that shuttle bus might have delays depending on traffic and departure from earlier pick up location. Shuttlebus has “Icebreaker Sampo Shuttle bus” or “Icebreaker Arktis Shuttle bus” reading at the front of the windshield.
