Plitvice Lakes National Park consists of two parts – the Upper Lakes and Lower Lakes.
You’ll begin by exploring the 12 interconnected lakes in the upper part of Plitvice. Following wooden footpaths, each corner of the park surrounds you with lush forests, cascading waterfalls, and a thriving ecosystem that completes this natural phenomenon. It is an experience that will not only leave you impressed, but allows you to be one with nature.
From the Upper Lakes, the tour continues with a scenic boat ride to the Lower Lakes.
The Lower Lakes are home to Croatia’s tallest waterfall which you’ll be able to track from a distance thanks to its thundering roar. The beauty of this area is also complemented by numerous caves and an incredible variety of flora and fauna.
After we finish exploring Plitvice Lakes, we’ll stop on our way back to Split for lunch in one of the authentic taverns of this region.
