Your first stop is Napa Lake, a seasonal wetland embraced by snow-capped mountains and sweeping grasslands. Depending on the time of the year, you will encounter colorful wildflowers in spring, flocks of black-necked cranes in winter, or golden-hued reflections in autumn, making it a paradise for birdwatchers and photographers.

Next, journey to the Balagezong Scenic Area, often referred to the real-life Shambhala. Begin in Bala Village, a thousand-year-old Tibetan settlement known for its ancient stone dwellings, vibrant prayer flags and taste authentic Tibetan food such as buttered tea and tsamba.
