Right After picking up all our guests, we’ll take them on a journey through the small towns of “Grecia” towards “Sarchí”, and then through the charming community of Bajos del Toro. On the way, we will make a stop to have breakfast.
After an unforgettable drive through the surrounding landscapes that seem to be out of this world, we will make it to Tesoro Escondido Water Fall arrival parking lot where we will start our short pleasant 40-minute walk (Back and Forth). The area can get wet conditions, so hikers should be prepared for some mud. We will be crossing over a hanging bridge that leads us to a well-marked path where wild bushes, small creeks, and some beautiful flowers will lead us to the viewpoint slope.
The ViewPoint
Here we will hike to the top of the hill where an amazing view awaits visitors, this trail consists of inclined stairs. Slow and steady is the name of the game! Don’t be afraid to stop and catch your breath every once in a while! Once at the top we are going to take the time to gaze at the stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Back to the main path, a short distance path will show us the the pristine waters. After walking along the river, we will get close to the surprising waterfall and its pool, where we can swim (optional) and take a moment to enjoy nature. Afterwards, we will head back a few steps to where the smaller pools are. Here We can also swim and spend a while listening to the running water before we make our way back to the parking lot.
After a profound encounter with nature our visitors will have to time to put on dry clothes and get ready for the Local Cuisine. Then, we will slowly make our way back to our meeting point.
