Right After picking up all our guests, we'll take you on a journey through Alajuela, to Poas Volcano National Park. A pleasant drive into small towns, coffee fields, and farms.

Once at the Poas Volcano National Park, We'll make our way. The park has a short-distance walking path that goes all the way to the edge of the crater ideal for travelers of all ages and abilities. We will have time to gaze at stunning views of the surrounding areas and the beautiful crater

The popular Botos Lake trail leads to a stunning lagoon in the dormant Botos crater and is an easy 1.4k-half-hour hike from the main viewpoint. (optional)

Sendero Canto Aves (optional)
We will continue south on the “Sendero Canto Aves”, a 1.8k, 45-minute trail through the forest, which gets less traffic than the other parks of the park and is ideal for birdwatching.

Experience the miraculous journey of coffee at the immersive new Visitor Center. Get a hands-on look at a working tree nursery, wet mill, drying patio, and roaster. See what is being done to empower farmers, promote sustainable practices, and develop the next generation of coffee. Tours are available in English. At this point, you will have the opportunity to buy food, get coffee, access the restrooms, and enjoy amazing views.
