About this experience

Durmitor National Park is calling all nature lovers and hikers!

If you want more than just the famous Black Lake, there’s more than one way to explore.

Option 1 takes you to three of Durmitor’s 17 glacial lakes, hidden among ancient forests. Visit the iconic Black Lake, the quiet Zminje Lake, and the enchanting Borno Lake, each revealing a different face of Durmitor’s wilderness. Along the trails, you might spot mushrooms and forest fruits, changing with the seasons.

Option 2 is a moderate hike to Jablan Lake, Bosaca village, Pirlitor, and Momčilov Grad, with sweeping views and captivating local legends.
Watch wild ducks glide over Jablan Lake, and keep an eye out for some “funny” mushrooms—legend says they might make you see dancing trees (or just a very wobbly goat).

Whichever route you choose, you’ll uncover Durmitor’s hidden gems—landscapes of silence, beauty, and timeless stories—an experience to inspire and refresh your spirit.
