Detailed itinerary

1

Our guide and transportation will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco at around 4:30 a.m. and take you on a scenic drive to the community of Pacchanta, located at the foot of the majestic Ausangate Mountain. Upon arrival, you will enjoy a traditional Andean breakfast prepared with local ingredients, giving you the energy needed for the adventure ahead.

2

After breakfast, we will receive a short briefing from our guide about the tour and the day’s itinerary. Then, we will begin our hike along a steadily ascending trail, walking for approximately 2 hours until we reach the famous Ausangate 7 Lakes. Once there, we will start visiting the beautiful lagoons, which are located close to each other, including Azulcocha, Otorongo, Oq’ecocha, Pucacocha, Alqacocha, Q’omercocha, and Patacocha.

After enjoying the scenery and visiting each of the lagoons, we will hike back to the starting point in Pacchanta, where we will have lunch before continuing with the rest of the program.

3

After lunch, you will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the Pacchanta hot springs (natural hot springs), where you can soak in the warm thermal waters while admiring spectacular views of the majestic Ausangate Mountain and the surrounding Andean landscape. This is the perfect moment to rest your muscles and fully appreciate the peace and tranquility of this unique high-Andean place.

After this relaxing experience at the hot springs, we will board our transportation and begin our scenic 3-hour drive back to Cusco. We will arrive in the city at approximately 6:00 pm and drop you off directly at the door of your hotel for your convenience.
