In the afternoon, you will ride Hakone Ropeway with spectacular view of the volcano crater and visit Owakudani Valley. Worship a 1,000-year old Hakone Shrine at Lake Ashinoko. You will be able to enjoy the rich natural beauty of Hakone, which is different from that of the city. Note that we can also customize the route according to your wishes and seasonal events. The Hakone Ropeway connects the 4-km Hakone ropeway from Hayakumo Mountain to Momogendai on the shore of Lake Ashi. Owakudani Station is 1,044 meters above sea level, making it ideal for enjoying the scenery. The operating section is the longest cableway line in Japan, and the number of passengers is also recognized as the world's largest in the gondola and lift category in the Guinness World Records.
From ropeway, You can see the crater where the last phreatic explosion of Hakone Volcano occurred 3,000 years ago, and it is still a representative view spot of Hakone. The famous black eggs boiled in the Owakudani hot spring are said to prolong one's life. Then we will visit to Hokone shrine, it takes 30 minutes.
