Located in the center of Matsumoto City, Shihashira Shrine enshrines the four gods who preside over the creation of heaven and earth, including “Amano-no-Ochu-no-Kami. Known as the “God of Wish Conclusion,” the shrine attracts many visitors seeking blessings for good marriages and fulfillment of wishes. The shrine is characterized by a clean atmosphere and beautiful pavilions as you pass through the torii gate, and is within walking distance from Matsumoto Castle and Nawate-dori Avenue, making it ideal for sightseeing. After visiting the shrine, visitors can take a stroll through the grounds and enjoy the natural beauty of the seasons.

4

Located in the center of Matsumoto City, this historical street is lined with buildings built in the white-walled storehouse style, and retains the atmosphere of a merchant town from the Edo period. Dotted with crafts and antique stores and tasteful cafes, visitors can enjoy Matsumoto's traditional and modern culture as they stroll along. In the center of the street is the “Nakamachi Suijo” where water flows, creating a pleasant, cool sound. With its beautiful streets and local warmth, Nakamachi-dori is the perfect spot for those who want to relax and enjoy sightseeing.
