Participant is required to confirm that your country’s driving license/IDP is eligible for Japan. IDP must be in booklet format. Digital IDP,card type,picures,copy are not accepted.
Residents from countries such as; China, Mexico,Indonesia, Pakistan,Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar are not allowed to drive in Japan. Please make sure that your passport country issues an international driving permit under the 1949 convention. Operator cannot issue refunds if participants provide incorrect/invalid documents on the activity day.
Countries such as; Switzerland, Germany, France, Taiwan, Belgium, Estonia, or Monaco must be accompanied with original driving license + Official Japanese translation by the authorized organization + Passport ( all three documents are required to drive)
To drive in Japan, an International driving permit should be under the 1949 convention to legally drive on the streets of Japan. It is fully participant's responsibility to provide a driver license that is valid to drive in Japan. The regulations differ depending on your passport issuing country. Please make sure to check the regulation from Japan Automobile Federation (JAF)
