If requested, your guide will pick you up at your accommodation in Gheorgheni and transfer to Red Lake and the Bicaz Gorges on a 30 minutes ride.

Once you arrive at Red Lake (Lacu Rosu in Romanian) resort, enjoy an easy walk around the lake with your guide, learn about the stories and legends linked to the area, taste a local delicacy and learn about the local culture.

During this walk your guide will give you various options for hiking trails in the Bicaz Gorges - Hasmas Mountains National Park so you can decide which one suits you the most based on your interests and fitness level.

Being a private tour, your guide will present all the options available for your walking or hiking tour in the Bicaz Gorges. You can hike up to the Mary Stone (1048 m), Killer Stone (1378 m), Kiscohard Massif (1345 m), Fairies Garden Stone or the Likas Stone (1675 m) or explore the Bicajel gorges. All options offer a great encounter with the lime cliffs and dense forests of the national park and provide great views of this unique landscape.

Those who are interested in rock climbing, can upgrade their experience with a 2-hour guided via ferrata tour either on the Wild Ferenc or on the Astragaus trail. All necessary equipment and instructions will be provided and no prior experience is needed, but the lack of fear of heights is a must.

At the end of the tour, your guide will escort you back to your car or drive you back to your accommodation in Gheorgheni.
