Detailed itinerary

1

Just before reaching a spring of the same name, a small car park appears on the right-hand side of the road and a paved path disappears mysteriously into the wooded undergrowth. At the end of the path, there's a surprise find: a limestone waterfall (15m) slides down the cliff, forming stalactites and filtering through maidenhair ferns, segmented cacti and various creepers. The waterfall only occurs after heavy rains, but it's a magical spot even when stilled by the season.

2

Ayn Tobruk
A fascinating place where you will see the Falaj. Ayn (ain) Tobruk is situated nearby to Ayn Tabraq in Taqah area. You can skip Ain Hamran if you have limited time otherwise you can cover both the areas at another 18KM from Ain Hamran Salalah.

3

Taqa is one of the 10 wilayats in Dhofar Governorate and is famous for its historical Taqa Castle (Taqah Fort). But Taqa also has beautiful white sandy beach. The beach is comparable to any good tropical beach in the world.

4

A small cliff on the other end of Taqa Beach makes the view of this beautiful beach more photogenic. The drive on the top of the cliff is possible and is through off road. The view from the top of the cliff is stunning. A must thing to do. But be careful, the top has a deep beach beneath.

5

Wadi Darbat is the most beautiful and spectacular place in Salalah city and the perfect place for mountain and nature lovers. The place is fully packed with tourists especially in the autumn season.

Darbat Lake situated at the heart of Wadi Darbat is a marvellous picnic spot. It is a perfect place for visitors to take short boat rides or have barbecue dinners near the shores.
During autumn, the wadi’s water descending from the mountains forms magnificent waterfalls cascading from a height of up to 30 meters (100 feet).

6

Tawi Ateer Sinkhole
Teeq Cave and Tawi Ateer Sinkhole is the most famous sinkhole and cave in Dhofar governorate.
The place is famous for its geographical and historical richness, its historical and archaeological sites, as well as its remains of early civilization. All these add to Oman’s rich biodiversity.
It serves as an amazing tourist destination, offering a great opportunity for those interested in discovery, along with nature and adventure.

7

Jabal Samhan (also spelled as Jebel Samhan, and mentioned as Mount Samhan) is the highest series of the three that forms the amazing Dhofar Mountains. It is on the Eastern Side of Salalah and covers the greater part of Dhofar after Taqa wilayat.

Jabal Samhan beckons you to embrace the grandeur of Oman’s mountain wilderness and immerse yourself in the beauty of its diverse wildlife. Whether you’re hiking, camping, or simply enjoying the serene atmosphere, Jabal Samhan offers a truly unique adventure. Book your journey with us and discover the magic of this majestic mountain range. Experience the thrill, create cherished memories, and leave with a deep appreciation for the wonders of nature at Jabal Samhan.
