Just before reaching a spring of the same name, a small car park appears on the right-hand side of the road and a paved path disappears mysteriously into the wooded undergrowth. At the end of the path, there's a surprise find: a limestone waterfall (15m) slides down the cliff, forming stalactites and filtering through maidenhair ferns, segmented cacti and various creepers. The waterfall only occurs after heavy rains, but it's a magical spot even when stilled by the season.
Ayn Tobruk
A fascinating place where you will see the Falaj. Ayn (ain) Tobruk is situated nearby to Ayn Tabraq in Taqah area. You can skip Ain Hamran if you have limited time otherwise you can cover both the areas at another 18KM from Ain Hamran Salalah.
Taqa is one of the 10 wilayats in Dhofar Governorate and is famous for its historical Taqa Castle (Taqah Fort). But Taqa also has beautiful white sandy beach. The beach is comparable to any good tropical beach in the world.
