About this experience

After a 30 min drive from Livingstone through a part of the Zambezi National Park, we will reach our village.

We will walk together through our beautiful Simoonga village and we will explain the history of this place, the present situation and our vision. You meet a lot of friendly locals, learn about our tradition and the way we live.

Me and my partners started to build the Simoonga Thandizani Trust School at 2015 and it is growing till today. We will then visit our school and you will have a chance to teach our children if you want to. But surely, you will fall in love on these cute kids and they have lots love for you.

Ater the village tour and the school we will cook and eat together Nshima, our local traditional food. Also Vegetarians are welcome.

With a full stomach we drive back to Livingstone and we drop you off and you leave us with nice pictures, amazing experiences and a different view of Zambia.

After a 30min ride from Livingstone you will reach our beautiful village Simoonga.

Have a nice tour through our village. There you'll learn a lot of interesting things about the local people. (their Buildings, Traditions and Food). This is an opportunity to interact with the affable local people and be indulged in the village way of life, culture and tradition. We have the elderly people who are the custodian of the village history that has transcended for generations. Be part of story telling time and carry the lasting memories home.

We have our own school, where you get a look inside and maybe can try to help teaching. Engage the vulnerable community school children , exchange cultural stories and leave a mark of transformation. Before we heading back to Livingstone, we are going to cook and eat all together Nshima, a traditional food.
