On our first visit, known as the door to the Amazon, our guide will provide you with information about the activities available at each point, from where you can get a panoramic view of the Pastaza River.
The guide will provide essential information to enter the indigenous community, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in cultural traditions. They will participate in the typical dance with instruments and clothing provided, they will enjoy the traditional chicha, they will practice the blowpipe and they will be able to interact with animals from the community. Finally, they will explore the crafts area, where they can purchase unique souvenirs.
During this activity, the guide will provide you with vests for the descent in a traditional canoe, similar to the one used by the indigenous people on the Puyo River. You will enjoy the lush vegetation and have the opportunity to observe the houses of the community along the route.
During lunch, we will go to the bus stop, where you can enjoy a typical lunch. The menu includes a delicious legume soup and as a main dish, you can choose between chicken, meat or maito. All accompanied by a traditional natural energizing drink, guayusa. You can also opt for a vegetarian or vegan menu.
At the beginning of the walk to the "Hola Vida" waterfall, our guide will provide directions for a tour of approximately 25 minutes. Along the way, you can enjoy the rich flora and fauna of the surroundings, participate in the application of a natural mud mask and try sigta, a natural remedy that helps cleanse the nasal passages. Upon reaching the waterfall, you will have 20 minutes to enjoy a refreshing swim. A rejuvenating experience in the middle of nature!
From the "Indichurros" viewpoint, you will undertake a short walk of approximately 7 minutes. Upon arrival, you will marvel at a stunning panoramic view of the confluence of the Puyo and Pastaza rivers. In addition, you will find hammocks and platforms to immerse yourself in the landscape.
