After a 60 minute drive from Hua Hin, we stop here to firstly take 5 minutes to "make merit" before start before starting our walk through the old town.
We walk and delve into the rich history of Phetchaburi's food culture through the Rim Naam Morning Market in the 'Old Town', tasting food as you go.
We then get back in the van and head off in the back streets of Phetchaburi to seek out street food, noodles and find the best tasting Palm Sugar ice-cream, all very unique to this area
Back in the van, we travel 30 minutes to a palm sugar plantation where you will learn about the famous product of Phetchaburi, learn how the toddy palms are harvested and taste some of the products. From there we head to a local restaurant to eat Thai food that is unique to this region of Thailand. We then travel 60 minutes back to Hua Hin
The tour guide will be waiting at the Starbucks entrance at the Hua Hin Clocktower. The distance to the first stop in Phetchaburi is 60 minutes.
